Payment Policy

In order to keep our business running smoothly, it is crucial that we maintain a healthy cash flow and, where possible, reduce the time we must spend on admin. For this reason, we ask all clients to pay promptly. The following Payment Policy details what we expect from our clients in terms of payment.

1. Invoice date

You will be invoiced on Sunday each week. For example, if we walk your dog on Thursday 6th February and Sunday 9th February, both of these walks will be included in your invoice on Sunday 9th February.

2. Payment reference

If paying by manual bank transfer, please use the invoice number as a reference when making payment. This helps us to keep track and to streamline our tax and accounting processes.

3. Invoice due dates

You will be given seven (7) days from the date your invoice is created. By the end of these seven days, you must pay in full. However, we much prefer clients to make payment immediately as this enables us to focus less on admin and more on taking care of our lovely pets.

4. Late payment

The due date for payment will always be included on each invoice. If you do not make payment in full by 23:59 on the due date, you will be charged a late payment fee of £15.

5. Account suspension

If seven (7) days have passed since your invoice due date, and you have still not made payment in full, we will immediately suspend all services provided to you. Once you have paid in full, we will decide whether or not to resume providing services to you, at our discretion.

6. Payment reminders

Payment reminders are generally sent on Thursdays and Saturdays. These will be sent to the most recent email address you have provided to us. Please note: payment reminders may sometimes be sent on days outside of Thursday and Saturday.

7. Legal action

In the event that fourteen (14) days or more have passed since your invoice due date, and you have not made payment in full, we will begin legal proceedings as soon as we are able in order to resolve the matter as swiftly as possible. Please note that if this happens, you may be liable to pay costly legal fees. This situation can be avoided by familiarising yourself with, and strictly adhering to, this Payment Policy.
